Law Day planning kit

Each year, judges and attorneys across Wisconsin develop programs and presentations to mark Law Day, celebrated on May 1. Celebrations often take place in county courthouses.

The five Law Day planning kits available here were developed by the Director of State Courts Office. Each provides timeless ideas for programs, contests and presentations, as well as mock trial scripts. Judges, court staff and lawyers who organize Law Day events are encouraged to report back to Court Information Officers Tom Sheehan and Amanda Todd so that we can highlight efforts in The Third Branch newsletter.
