Wisconsin selected for statewide initiative to expand evidence-based practices in criminal justice system

March 2, 2015 - The National Institute of Corrections today announced that Wisconsin is one of three states to advance with a technical assistance grant program designed to improve public safety through the application of proven research in the criminal justice decision-making process. see full article see full article

March case of the month

February 27, 2015 - The case of the month project provides high school teachers with some of the necessary tools to educate their students about the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Each month, during the Supreme Court's session, a "teachable" case will be highlighted. It will be chosen from the cases the Court will hear that month. March case of the month available here.

Oral argument schedule

February 27, 2015 - The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments during March on cases that originated in eight counties. The calendar and synopses of cases to be heard can be found here.

Court interpreter training planned for Milwaukee

February 25, 2015 - The Director of State Courts Office is accepting applications for interpreter training to be held in Milwaukee on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 at the Student Union at UW-Milwaukee. see full article see full article
