December 12, 2013 - The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments during December on cases that originated in four counties. The calendar and synopses of cases to be heard can be found here.
December 12, 2013 - The case of the month project provides high school teachers with some of the necessary tools to educate their students about the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Each month, during the Supreme Court's session, a "teachable" case will be highlighted. It will be chosen from the cases the Court will hear that month. December case of the month available here.
December 11, 2013 - The fall edition of The Third Branch, the quarterly newsletter of the Wisconsin court system, is now available.
December 5, 2013 - The Children's Court Improvement Program (CCIP) today launched the E-Learning Project -- an online, self-directed educational resource to assist in the processing of child welfare cases. The website is available around the clock to court officials, social workers, attorneys and anyone else interested in improving understanding about key court proceedings, statutory requirements, applicable case law, and best practices involved in child welfare cases. see full article
November 27, 2013 - The Wisconsin Supreme Court has voted to accept five new cases and acted to deny review in a number of other cases.
