Supreme Court Rule 10.05 (2) (c) provides that every 10 years, commencing January 1, 1995, the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Wisconsin (Board) shall submit to the court a proposed redistricting map dividing the state bar into districts in accordance with requirements established by Supreme Court rule.  SCR 10.05(2)(d) provides that notice, filing, review, hearing and adoption of the redistricting proposal shall be as provided in SCR 10.13 (2) for amendment of bylaws.

The Board duly filed the proposal adopted by the Board of Governors and certified by the Executive Director of the State Bar of Wisconsin on February 4, 2005. See SCR 10.13(2); SCR 10 Appendix, Art. IX.

More than 60-days, the requisite notice and comment period, has passed without objection to the proposal, such that the amendment to the bylaw may take effect.  Therefore,

IT IS ORDERED that the Redistricting Proposal certified by the Executive Director and duly adopted by the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Wisconsin may take effect, effective July 1, 2005, nunc pro tunc.

Dated at Madison, Wisconsin, this 19 day of August, 2005.
