On July 15, 2005, the Board of Bar Examiners (BBE), by its Director, filed a petition proposing certain technical changes to the language of Supreme Court Rule 40.14 regarding fees payable to the Board of Bar Examiners.  At the November 30, 2005 public hearing on the matter, the Director indicated some changes to the petition were warranted and advised the Court the BBE would reconsider the proposal.  On October 31, 2006, the BBE withdrew its petition pending a comprehensive review of Chapter 31 and Chapter 40 of the Supreme Court Rules by the BBE.

Therefore,

IT IS ORDERED that the petition filed in the matter of the petition for amendment to Supreme Court Rule 40.14 relating to technical changes in language regarding Board of Bar Examiner fees is dismissed.

Dated at Madison, Wisconsin, this 29th day of January, 2007.
