JUDICIAL COUNCIL COMMITTEE'S NOTE, 1979: The following rule relates to the state law
library. This rule is in the 1977 Wisconsin statutes as section 758.01 and has
been clarified and numbered SCR 82.01 for uniformity and convenience.
SCR
82.01 State law library. The
supreme court shall maintain a state law library for the use of officers and employees
of this state, attorneys and the public. The supreme court shall promulgate and
enforce rules governing the use of the library and appoint and fix the
compensation of a librarian and such staff as is necessary to operate the
library.
