     By letter of October 7, 1996 the Director of State Courts, on behalf of the Records Management Committee, requested that the rule petition filed February 22, 1994 and heard on October 24, 1994, seeking the amendment of the statutes to clarify and make uniform the use of the terms “docket” and “court record” and to use the term “judgment and lien docket” in referring to the integrated, automated master judgment and lien record be withdrawn.  In its request, the petitioner stated that the enactment of 1995 Wisconsin Act 224, which became effective May 1, 1996, has resolved the issues that are the subject of the rule petition. 

IT IS ORDERED that the request is granted and the petition is withdrawn.
