On August 12, 2003,
Samuel Mostkoff, a Wisconsin resident, filed a petition seeking to amend SCR
40.05 in connection with his application for admission to practice law in
Wisconsin. He further requested the
court direct the Board of Bar Examiners to hold his application for admission
to practice law in Wisconsin in abeyance pending this court’s consideration of
the petition. The court has considered
the petition and Mr. Mostkoff’s request.
IT IS ORDERED that the
petition to amend SCR 40.05 is denied, ex parte.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED
that the request to direct the Board of Bar Examiners to hold in abeyance Mr.
Mostkoff’s application for admission to practice law in Wisconsin is dismissed.
