On March 13, 2001, Honorable Robert A. Haase, on behalf of the Committee of Chief Judges and District Court Administrators, filed a petition seeking to amend Appendix, Section A (4) of Chapter 60 of the Supreme Court Rules. The amendment would allow the chief judge of a judicial district to request an advisory opinion about the conduct of other judges in the judicial district when necessary for proper administration of the district. On November 30, 2001, the Judicial Conduct Advisory Committee filed a response to the petition and opposed the amendment. On January 7, 2002, the petition was withdrawn.
IT IS ORDERED that the petition filed on March 13, 2001, by the Committee of Chief Judges and District Court Administrators is withdrawn.
