Court of Appeals search for certifications
A certification is a request by the Court of Appeals that the Supreme Court take jurisdiction of a case and issue a decision.
Use this page to search for Court of Appeals certifications released since March 1997. A certification will remain on this site until it is denied or, if granted, until the Supreme Court issues an opinion.
You can perform two types of searches, keyword and database. The keyword search allows you to enter case numbers, a word or an exact phrase, which are used to search the body of the all Court of Appeals documents (available on this Web site). Click here to perform a keyword search.
The database search allows you to search on specific fields in our database, such as docket number, release date, and disposition method. The resulting list will display certifications that exactly match the selected criteria. Use the form below to perform a database search.
