Supreme Court wraps up work for term

July 1, 2014 - The Wisconsin Supreme Court completed and approved for mandate all the cases heard by the court during the 2013-14 term, said Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson. The term ended June 30, and opinions will be released by the Clerk of Supreme Court’s office during the next several weeks. Notice is given a day or two before an opinion is released. To check which opinions are tentatively scheduled for release on a given date, visit the opinions scheduled for release page.

New fee for admission pro hac vice.

June 26, 2014 - The Wisconsin Supreme Court increased the fee for submitting an application for admission pro hac vice to $250, effective July 1, 2014. A portion of the fee is designated for the Office of Lawyer Regulation's general operating requirements and a portion is designated for The Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation (WisTAF) and the Wisconsin Access to Justice Commission (WATJ) to support programs that improve access to civil legal services for unrepresented low-income Wisconsin residents.
