The Wisconsin Court System will recognize Employee Appreciation Week by highlighting the work of court staff across the state and hosting an informal gathering for employees.
Employee Appreciation Week offers an opportunity to recognize the contributions of judges, clerks, administrative staff, and court professionals who support the daily operations of Wisconsin’s courts. From managing case flow and assisting court users to maintaining records and supporting courtroom proceedings, their work ensures that courts remain accessible and responsive to the public.
As part of the week, employees are invited to an ice cream social on Monday, June 8, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Garden Level Conference Room at the Tenney Building. The event is a chance for staff to relax, enjoy a treat, and connect with colleagues.
Director of State Courts Audrey K. Skwierawski noted that the recognition demonstrates the essential role court staff play in carrying out the work of the judicial branch.
“Our courts rely on the skill, professionalism, and commitment of the people who serve in them every day,” Director Skwierawski said. “This week is a chance to recognize that work and to say thank you.”
Employees are encouraged to attend as their schedules allow.
