Wisconsin Supreme Court justices met with the Committee of Chief Judges and District Court Administrators on March 13 for their annual joint meeting at the U.S. Bank Plaza Conference Center in Madison.
The meeting provides an opportunity for the state’s highest court and chief judges from across Wisconsin’s judicial administrative districts to share updates and discuss issues affecting court operations statewide.
Chief judges led presentations and discussion on several topics, including the ongoing shortage of attorneys and court reporters, interpreter services, judges’ use of technology, and the work of the judiciary’s jury subcommittee.
Written district reports were also submitted in advance of the meeting, providing updates from each judicial administrative district on local court operations and priorities.
