Wisconsin Court System employees now have access to a new online portal for reviewing, enrolling in, and making changes to ETF-administered insurance benefits.
My Insurance Benefits launched on May 1 for state agencies that are part of STAR, delivering a streamlined experience for employees. The new system, available through the My Benefits portal on the Department of Employee Trust Funds website, replaces the STAR process previously used for initial enrollment and open enrollment benefit selections.
Through My Insurance Benefits, employees can securely access information about selected plans for health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as health savings accounts for eligible members. Employees and new hires will also use the system to complete new enrollments or make benefit changes tied to qualifying life events. Long-term care insurance is not included in My Insurance Benefits.
Employees are encouraged to log in before the annual open enrollment period this fall to review their insurance information and become familiar with the new system. During open enrollment, employees will use My Insurance Benefits to make any desired changes to health and other eligible insurance benefits for 2027.
A MyWisconsin ID is required to access the My Benefits portal. Employees who need to create or manage their MyWisconsin ID can find assistance on ETF’s My Benefits Help page.
