Chief Judge Mary Triggiano

Chief Judge Mary Triggiano, Milwaukee County Circuit Court, will become the director of the Andrew Center for Restorative Justice at Marquette University Law School, the law school announced on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Triggiano, who has served on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court since 2004, is expected to start her new role some time in 2023. News of the announcement was also featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Triggiano has been chief judge of the First Judicial Administrative District since 2020. She is former presiding judge of the county’s Children’s Court and the county’s Domestic Violence Court. Her current term on the circuit court is set to expire July 31, 2023.

Municipal Judge Derek Mosley

On Nov. 1, the law school announced that Milwaukee Municipal Court Judge Derek Mosley will become the director of the Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, effective Jan. 9, 2023. Mosely has served on the municipal court since 2002. He is a regular contributor to Office of Judicial Education programming and a member of the Municipal Court Education Committee. News of Mosley’s new role at the law school was also reported in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
