November case of the month

November 7, 2019 - The case of the month project provides high school teachers with some of the necessary tools to educate their students about the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Each month, during the Supreme Court's session, a "teachable" case will be highlighted. It will be chosen from the cases the Court will hear that month. Chief Justice Roggensack delivers State of the Judiciary

November 6, 2019 - Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Patience Drake Roggensack delivered the annual State of the Judiciary address Nov. 6 at the opening of the 2019 Wisconsin Judicial Conference at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake. Wisconsin Supreme Court accepts seven new cases

October 18, 2019 - The Wisconsin Supreme Court has voted to accept seven new cases, and the Court acted to deny review in a number of other cases. The case numbers, counties of origin, and the issues presented in granted cases are listed. More detailed synopses will be released at a later date.   • The Columbia County Courthouse will be closed the morning of Friday, Nov. 22, 2019. The courthouse will open for business at 1:00 p.m. that day.
