09/26/22 Seating still available for Oct. 10 Supreme Court oral argument in Waupaca
Some seating is still available for the public to observe oral argument before the Wisconsin Supreme Court at the Waupaca County Courthouse on Oct. 10. The Court is holding argument in two cases as part of the Court’s outreach and public education program, Justice on Wheels. Waupaca will be the 32nd county outside Dane where the Court has held oral argument since the program began in 1993.

06/24/22 Supreme Court appoints three new chief judges; re-appoints two
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has appointed circuit court judges from Waushara, Outagamie and Taylor counties as new chief judges of their respective judicial administrative districts, effective Aug. 1, 2022. The Court also re-appointed judges from Kenosha and Barron counties to continue as chief judges. The appointments are for two-year terms or until further order of the Court. Read more.

Brookfield's Kelsey Raddemann won top honors among middle school students in the 2022 National Center for State Courts' (NCSC) Civics Education Essay Contest. 04/21/22 Court system CIO Jean Bousquet to retire
Chief Information Officer (CIO) Jean Bousquet has announced plans to retire, after nearly 30 years with the Wisconsin court system. Bousquet joined the courts as a court analyst in 1993.
